Offshore Logistics Support

AOST provides supporting services to its clients during passage offshore Malta.

We deliver supplies and equipment to commercial vessels upon request on regular basis, making us a one stop shop for our clients, ensuring that we provide all that is required. AOST is also engaged with the organisation of crew changes, where we compete on efficiency and reliability.

The base in Malta is located just off the port of Valletta, within 450 metres from the maritime hub and the shipyards.

AOST has a long-standing relationship with the operators of the maritime hub. The shipyards have also long-been clients of the group. Through the strategic location of our base and our trusted relationship with the larger facilities around us, the industry is guaranteed one-stop for the expertise of the group, as well as the sourcing of further capability, lay-down area, quay access and machinery.

The facilities in our base consist of:

  • 720 square meters of covered multipurpose space for equipment laydown and maintenance activity;
  • 300 square meters administrative centre, with office space for staff, fully-equipped emergency response room, and training facilities for up to 25 students;
  • 1200 square meters of un-covered storage area;
  • 25 metre-long wash-down area intended for the cleaning of the spill response systems; and
  • Loading-bay fully accessible from the warehouse facilities and the front of the facilities allowing for rapid spill response during an emergency operation.

Just 450 metres down the road Triq il-Baċir, we have access to a 100-metre quay that serves as secure berthing.

Our warehousing and uncovered laydown area is organised to be multipurpose, serving our own needs as well as that of our clients. In addition, we have an arrangement which allows us to scale up to 25,000 square metres of un-covered storage area, as well as further warehouse space with very short lead times.
